We are coming to disney in august for my daughters 3rd birthday, she really likes pooh lately with the new movie coming out and so i was looking at the crystal palace for dinner. Do they do anything for birthdays? And how do i let them know for our room?

    Hi Amanda!

Happy Birthday to your little princess!  The Crystal Palace is the PERFECT location for any child that loves Winnie the Pooh - and really, who doesn't???  Tigger leads a birthday parade through the restaurant every 30 minutes or so and all guests celebrating are encouraged to jump in.  Be sure to pick up a birthday pin at any Guest Relations desk and have her wear it all day long.  While it won't guarantee any special treatment, she will certainly get tons of birthday wishes!  If you would like to purchase a small cake and have it delivered to your table, you can let them know at the podium when you check in.  Or, for a truly spectacular cake, call the folks at Disney's Cake Hotline and create the cake of her dreams.  They will need at least 48 hours advanced notice and they can be reached at 1-407-827-2253.  Either way, she will have tons of fun at the Crystal Palace!

I would call 1-407-WDISNEY and have them note your daughter's birthday on your room reservation.  I would mention it again when you check in.  Many resorts have been known to leave a little birthday treat in the room.  If you would rather not chance it, you can order any number of gifts to be delivered to your room by visiting the Disney Florist.  Have an amazing birthday vacation!
