Hi Claire,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love your planning spirit!
Kudos to you for getting a quick-service dining plan. Remember that your meals are calculated per night of stay. So, if you are staying five nights, each person 3-years old and over on the dining plan would receive a total of 10 meals. You can use them in whatever order you wish, but my family typically uses one meal on the day we arrive and and one on the day we depart then we eat the rest on the days in between.
To determine how much a kids' meal would be, just check a few restaurant menus. One of our favorite restaurants is Be Our Guest. The quick-service
lunch menu includes prices for the kids' meals. Another of our favorite quick-service restaurants is ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Their
lunch menu also includes prices.
Claire, if you choose to dine at a table-service restaurant, your quick-service meal plan would not cover that meal but you can also check the menus of some of those. Coral Reef in Epcot is lovely. On the
dinner menu, kids' meal prices have ranged from $10-$13 when we have dined there. We also adore the
dinner menu at 50's Prime Time Café. Our girls usually get Goofy's Salmon and the kids' meal prices have ranged from $9-$11. Remember that prices are subject to change, but this should give you an idea! Remember to make dining reservations for Be Our Guest (even for breakfast or lunch).
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
