We are coming to Disney in April as a party of 10. My grandson has autism and sensory problems. We are concerned he will not wait in line without behaviour issues. Would it be possible for the whole party to ride at the same time without waiting in line

    Hi Yvonne,

I love how the Walt Disney World Resorts accommodates guest with special needs. The cast members go out of their way to make the guests feel special.

You can go to Guest Services and ask for a Guest Assistance Card (GAC). This will allow your grandson and five other members of your party to wait in a special area or in a shorter line. While the cast members will try to accommodate your entire party, there is no guarantee.

The cast members at the entrance to the attractions can help you manage the lines. In addition, the cast members can also help you with waiting locations for parades and fireworks.

In addition, to help my children with waiting in lines, we play games like Rock, Paper, Scissors or I Spy or Twenty Questions. Some children also use electronic games or MP3 players to help with waiting or sensory issues.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
