Hey there, hi there, ho there, Shannon!
Thanks for stopping by with a phenomenal
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
Oh boy... your club of Mouseketeers is heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few weeks. Are you counting down the minutes!? As a Guest who typically visits the Walt Disney World Resort as a family of three, I'd be happy to share some suggestions to ensure you have a swell time together.
Shannon, I understand you've purchased theme park tickets for your cast of
Characters, but you're wondering where to turn next. First, I encourage you to make some dining reservations for your family to enjoy. Guests can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, so you're currently eligible to book! Keep in mind that, to visit a dining location within a theme park, you must have valid theme park admission for that park on that date. I recommend taking a peek at the dining experiences located in both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and
making a reservation as soon as possible. If your little one might be interested,
Character Dining experiences are a great option to get up close and personal with Disney Characters while enjoying a memorable meal. Shannon, if you aren't seeing availability for the locations you're hoping to visit, keep checking back, as cancelations do happen!
Did you know Guests of Disney Resort hotels can pre-order MagicBands at a reduced pre-arrival price? If you're eligible to pre-order bands, hover over the
My Disney Experience tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website and tap "
My MagicBands and Cards." Scroll down and locate your MagicBand order and proceed through the steps to place an order for customized bands for each member of your family! If you aren't staying at an eligible Disney Resort hotel, I'm happy to inform you that you'll be able to purchase MagicBands from many
merchandise locations throughout property. Shannon, my son (who's about the same age as your daughter) absolutely loves his
MagicBand+. His expression is priceless any time his band pings off of a
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statue in the theme parks!
Once you've gotten a few dining reservations planned and your MagicBands on order, I encourage you and your family members to check out the
Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers & Small Children. This handy resource can help you with itinerary planning, suggesting age-appropriate attractions and entertainment offerings that your little one will love! You'll also find a helpful
video series about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones on the planDisney website. These short videos are filled with insider tips and tricks!
Shannon, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish your family a most magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have specific follow-up questions, feel free to
reach out to me directly. I'd be thrilled to help in any way I can!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
