We are coming to Disney on April 14,2011 to celebrate our sons 5th birthday. We would like to do the Disney's Pirate Adventure cruise and were wondering what time this takes place and if it is only on certain days?

    Hi Katherine,

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a 5th birthday than Disney World!

Disney's Pirate Adventure is for kids ages 4 - 12 years old. Each little buccaneer enjoys a light snack and beverage, learns how to talk like a pirate, visits legendary ports-of-call, and—if he or she is lucky—returns with a bag of pirate booty!

This adventure takes place from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and sets sail from the following resorts on select days:

    • Grand Floridian on Mondays thru Saturdays
    • Caribbean Beach Resort on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays
    • Port Orleans on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
    • Yacht Club on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

The current price is (always subject to change without notice) is $34.00 + tax. To make reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE.

If you are looking for a pirate adventure that the whole family can participate in, check out The Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom.  The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is awesome fun for pirates of all ages but only sails Friday - Monday during the time you'll be there.

Wishing your son many magical pirate filled birthday memories :-) Allison
