Hi Louise! Welcome to planDisney!
It's never too early to start planning for your next Walt Disney World holiday! February is one of the best times of the year to visit. The weather is typically perfect, with warm days and cooler mornings and nights. The
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be ongoing at this time, so keep a lookout for special treats and merchandise around the parks and resorts.
If you plan to purchase park tickets upon arrival, keep in mind that
park reservations are required for entry to the parks each day. If you wait until the day of to buy them, there is a chance that the park you want to visit on select dates is not available. There is also a chance that none of the parks have availability on that date, which means you cannot visit any park on this day. If you are flexible with your plans and you purchase the park hopper to go along with your tickets, you'll be able to start your day in the park that has availability and then hop over to any of the other three parks starting at 2 PM.
I understand that the
Disney Magic Tickets offered to Guests from the UK only come in increments of 7-days or 14-days. If you plan to only purchase 3-day park tickets, then purchasing 7-day tickets may not make a ton of sense to you. I would however compare the cost of 3-day tickets bought here in the United States versus the discounted cost of the 7-day Magic Ticket. That number may be closer than you realize. Plus, Disney Magic Tickets include the
Park Hopper Option, Memory Maker, and a few other perks as well. Currently, the cost of a 3-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option starting on February 20th, 2023 is USD 529.53. (Pricing is always subject to change at any time.)
Louise, I hope you have a magical time during your visit next year! Make sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements that may be of interest to you during your stay!
Happy planning!
Greg
