Hi there, Michelle!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Like every Disney hero, we all have to face tough decisions--like choosing the best time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Life happens, and sometimes plans have to change. So, I am happy to tell you, Michelle, that I have good news for you ahead!
It's important to note that
Walt Disney World Resort policy is that theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. If you purchase your tickets now, you will not be able to get a refund on them. However, you may absolutely modify the dates as you get closer to the big adventure.
You can modify the date for your unused theme park tickets. As long as the tickets have not expired, make the change using your
My Disney Experience account or call
Guest Relations. Depending on the new dates that you select, and because Disney ticket prices fluctuate throughout seasons and weeks, you may have to pay the difference between the cost of your new and old dates.
AN EXTRA GEM: Not only can you change your dates, but you can modify your
theme park reservation as well. Simply find your "Theme Park Reservations" in the My Disney Experience account. Then choose "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." Select the reservation for your currently selected park, and select "Modify Reservation." Select the Guests that you'd like to include in the modification, and then choose the date and theme park that you now desire. Voila!
If you do plan on visiting in December, don't miss out on
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. It's the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit--and you may even see "snow" in Florida! Whenever you decide to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, it will be here in a jiffy, Michelle. So, please
revisit us here at planDisney if you have any further planning questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
