Hi Kristian!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm very happy to see that you have a holiday planned for December next year. This is one of my favourite times of the year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The Christmas decorations are beautiful, and I especially enjoy visiting some of the Disney Resort hotels to see their decorated lobbies. The infamous gingerbread house (yes, made with real gingerbread shingles) at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is definitely worth a visit, and last year at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge they presented their first ever gingerbread cabin.
We are in an evolving situation and updates about the re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort are constantly being shared with us. The exclusive UK Ultimate Tickets are being reviewed, so please bear with us, and check back
on the website for all the latest ticket updates. From June 28th, holiday packages including tickets will probably be available to purchase for visits in 2021 so I would expect an update soon on availability of tickets for UK Guests.
Theme park reservations - the new
Disney Park Pass system - will be required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. This is in addition to your admission tickets, so as soon as you have purchased your tickets, please ensure you have set up your My Disney Experience Account and linked both your tickets and your Disney Resort hotel reservation, to your account, then you will be all set to go ahead to make your Disney Park Pass reservations a little nearer the time of your trip. Reservations are currently available up until September 2021.
At this time, prior to the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic and keep your eye on any new posts from the
Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
Sue
