Coming on 8/30 with DDP. Going to make reservation for Hoop Dee Doo show and use 2 credits each. Will they charge my credit card in full or is it just to hold it. I have heard conflicting answers. How does that work? Thank u for all your advice.

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, your credit card will not be charged, but your number will need to remain on file just incase you do not show-up for your dining experience or fail to cancel in a timely manner.  Please make sure that you are logged on correctly with your reservation number so that the system acknowledges that you are using the Disney Dining Plan.  If not, you run the risk of your card being charged the full amount.  In situations such as this, I highly recommend calling (407)WDW-DINE and allowing a Cast Member to assist you.  This will help you avoid the risk of having your credit card charged.
Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to offer some great tips and advice.  May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.
