Coming in 14 days. I thought Sept was a less rainy season, but on the weather website, it shows that it has rained almost every day, some days over an inch. Question is, what is weather like the end of Sept?

    Jaynee:

I've been to Disney World near the end of September at least four times, and the weather has been different every time, including the rain fall. On average, the temperature is in the high 80's during the day with lows around 60 in the evenings. Typically, we wear shorts during the day and bring a light jacket on vacation in case a night or two dips.

Hurricane Season can make September rain fall unpredictable, but even the occasional thunder shower usually doesn't stay around for too long. I recommend with a September trip, that you come prepared for a little rain and don't let it deter you from the fun. (You can enjoy some pretty short lines during an hour or two of afternoon showers.) Our family laughs over the fact that when we remember to pack our ponchos for the park, it doesn't rain. The day we forget to pack them in our backpack or the kid's fanny packs is the day it rains continuously. TIP: Purchase ponchos at home at your local discount store in the same color so that your family is easy to spot if you need to wear them. Otherwise, you'll be shelling out twice as much in the parks and wearing the same thing everyone else is.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
