Coming in 17 days! I am going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween and have reservations to Liberty Tree Tavern. Will characters be in Halloween costumes? The time is limited for the activities at MNSSH and I am wandering is dinner worth our time?I hope so!

We're also doing dinner at Liberty Tree before Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party during our upcoming trip.  It's one of our favorites!

The characters will be in costume, sort of.  Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale already sport colonial attire during the character dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern.  On nights when Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place, they accessorize with Halloween masks, unlike the full costumes they can be seen wearing during the parade that occurs later that night.

As for whether or not the dinner is worth your time, I would say probably, depending on what time your reservation is for.  Earlier is definitely better, preferably before the official 7:00 kick-off time of party festivities.  If dining at Liberty Tree would prevent you from seeing the fireworks show though, which only runs one time during the party, I would opt instead to see the fireworks and grab a quick bit to eat at one of the counter service locations in the Magic Kingdom.  Hope that helps.
