Coming in 23 days! My kids want to go again next year and I'm wondering is it worth the $ to upgrade to a moderate resort we have only stayed in ASMO was thinking PORS or CBR single parent money could be tight thanks

    Hey Michelle,

Big shout out to your kids for already knowing they want to come back next year, they sound like smart cookies! The answer to your question is a matter of determining what is important to you in a hotel. You already know that the Value resorts offer limited amenities and that the Moderate resorts offer a little more and cost a little more. I, personally, love the Moderate and Deluxe resorts because as Mom who takes care of every one all year I feel like I deserve some  extra amenities; but I digress. I save the Moderate and Deluxe resorts for when I come to WDW solo.  Honestly, my family spends so little time in the hotel that the Value Resorts are just fine for my showering and sleeping family.  But you know  what works for your brood. Will they spend more time at the pool, or will you use the restaurants more? Take some time to visit the hotels that you are considering for your next visit. Ask questions, take a peek into the rooms while the rooms are being serviced. Do a little homework, and determine what the extras are "worth" to you. We like to spend the extra money on souvenirs and Disney "stuff."

Pay close attention to your "bounce back"offer- a great discount on your next vacation if you book before you check out. Your bounce back offer may be discounted enough to encourage you to upgrade to a Moderate resort. Just have your deposit of about $200  ready to take advantage of your special offer.

Every Disney experience is different for every family, so take all things into consideration, and make the choice that pleases everybody. I hope I have given you some things to consider. Keep up the great Disney planning.
