    Hi! We are coming for 5 days February 28, March 1, 2, 3 & 4. I see that Ariels Grotto is closed along with most of the Paradise Pier. During our visit, is there an alternative for princess meet and greet/dining? When will Splash Mountain open?

    Hooray--your magical vacation is just around the corner! When you arrive, be sure to check out Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, a thrilling attraction that opened this past summer in Disney California Adventure Park. Over in Disneyland Park, the recently-enhanced Fantasmic! lights up the night as Mickey battles the forces of good and evil in his dream!

    Yes, Ariel’s Grotto is currently closed during Pixar Pier enhancements in Disney California Adventure Park. However, don’t fret, because you can still meet several of your favorite Disney Princess friends at Royal Hall in Disneyland Park! Every day, Guests are welcome to visit for hugs, autographs and photos with beloved Disney royalty. Royal Hall is located in Fantasy Fair, just adjacent to Sleeping Beauty Castle, and it’s a fairy tale-come-true! After you make your way through the shaded outdoor queue, each Princess is available to meet and greet Guests inside in her own private nook amid regal decor inspired by the castle. Disney PhotoPass Photographers are on hand to capture all the special moments.

    Splash Mountain is closed for refurbishment at this time, and an exact re-opening date hasn’t been announced yet. I recommending checking the Splash Mountain attraction page for updates as your trip approaches. I hope this information helps, Marlene.
