We are coming for 3 days on the 30th of December for new years. Are the parks going to be real busy (like summer time) with 45 minute waits? Where do you suggest being on new years eve right before midnight to celebrate? Kids ages are 7,7,6.

A number of years ago, my husband and I visited over New Years Eve as well.    We chose to spend it at Magic Kingdom watching the fireworks.   It was a blast.   This was a year before our children were born, but I am sure your kids will enjoy it.    Here is a link to the Disney park calendar, I checked it on your behalf and at this point its updated through June.   You may want to bookmark this, I am sure it won't be long before Disney extends the range of months to include through year-end.

As for crowds, I actually found this to be one of the busier days we ever visited.  So I suggest getting there early if you want to hit all the rides.
