Hello Jennifer! Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad to see you are prepared to make your dining reservations 180 days in advance. The best restaurants fill up quickly!
When making dining reservations online, you can make them 180 days in advance plus 10 days out. If you are staying longer than 10 days, you will need to split your reservations up. Online reservations open at 6 a.m. which give you a nice head start over people making reservation by phone. I do want to let you know that sometimes the online system isn't 100% reliable. When I made my Advance Dining Reservations last month, I could only book the first day of my trip online. If this happens to you, don't panic. Just wait until 7 a.m. and call 407-WDW-DINE and the Cast Member will help you with the rest of your reservations.
When I make my dining reservations, I usually just go day by day from my itinerary. I can, however, see your concern on restaurants filling up. If you are wanting to make your reservations by the most popular places, I would suggest booking Cinderella's Royal Table, 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's and then Hollywood & Vine. As long as you are online or on the phone when the reservation system first opens up, I don't see a problem making any of your reservation choices.
Good luck when making your reservations! If you need anything else, I'd love for you to head back here and
ask me. Have a great day!
