Coming w/ 6 yo daughter and my wife 6-9-12 for 6 n. I have scheduled 2 Makeovers she wanted to do with a princess dining afterwards the BBB one. Little overwhelmed with what other dining res to make and best way to plan days. First visit ever.

    Hi Nathan,

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  Your daughter is at the perfect age to embrace all the magic that this unparalleled vacation destination has in store for her.  I'm so excited for all of you.

It sounds like you've got "meeting the princesses" covered in your vacation plans.  Now I suggest you add a few more fun table service dining experiences.  Chef Mickey's on the fourth floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort is the quintessential character dining experience.  There's nothing quite like dining with Mickey and his friends while the iconic monorails glide by.  If you can get a reservation at this restaurant, I heartily recommend that you do so.  The number to call is (407)WDW-DINE.

Tusker House is a fabulous place to have lunch at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood & Vine (in Disney's Hollywood Studios) is a fun place to eat if your daughter enjoys the characters from Disney Junior.  The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom is the place to dine if you have Winnie the Pooh fans in your family.

With regard to planning your days, I suggest you visit the theme parks that offer Extra Magic Hours if you will be staying as guests in a Disney resort.  For instance, morning Extra Magic Hours are available on June 14th in the Magic Kingdom.  That's where I'd go on that day! Similarly, Disney's Animal Kingdom has morning Extra Magic Hours on the 11th.  I'd spend that day there.  Lines to popular attractions are shortest early in the day so you'll want to be at your theme park of choice as soon as it opens.

Let us know if you need any additional advice as your trip approaches.  We're here to help in any way we can.
