Hi I am coming on a cruise on Oct. 17th I was thinking of doing an excursion 4 Magic Kingdom My son is 6 & gas never been in Fla. My concern is will we have time to see & go on enough fides. How crowded norm in Oct?

    Hi, Lenore!

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! If you are traveling to the Port Canaveral area the day before your cruise, I think it's a fabulous idea to tack on some time at Walt Disney World. The resort is about an hour's drive from the port, and you can see and do a lot in a day -- either before or after your cruise.

If you want to visit the Magic Kingdom, you'll definitely want to set aside at least a day to tour the park, and October crowds are generally low during the middle of the week. I recommend virtually touring the Magic Kingdom online and checking out the calendar for the day you'll want to visit in order to make the most of your time there.

I hope this helps you plan, and let me know if you have any more questions before you sail. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
