Hiya Nancy - welcome to
planDisney!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a magical way to experience all of the pixie-dusted holiday excitement at Magic Kingdom Park! Based on the length of your trip, you currently have three evenings to choose from - November 8th, 10th, or 11th. I would recommend deciding on these plans soon, as these separately-ticketed special events do tend to sell out. For example, the demand for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was higher than I remember it being in past years - tickets are already sold out through the end of October! I guess we're all just ready for some major celebrating!
This year, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party festivities begin at 7 p.m. each evening, and party Guests are welcome to enter Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 p.m. If you would like to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park
before 4 p.m. on the date of your party tickets, you would need a separate valid
Theme Park admission (e.g., Theme Park Ticket or Annual Pass) and a
Park Pass Reservation for Magic Kingdom that day. Many Guests actually opt to save some money on the day of the party by enjoying the amenities and activities at their
Disney Resort hotel or spending time at
Disney Springs rather than using up a full Theme Park Ticket day.
Of course, if having lunch at
Cinderella's Royal Table is at the top of your list, you should make those plans and have a magical, full day, at Magic Kingdom Park! If your ticket has the Park Hopper option added on you could even make a Park Pass Reservation for a different theme park, and then hop to Magic Kingdom at 2 p.m. for a later lunch, maximizing your day.
There may also be special dining options available to you during the party itself. For example, you can check out the
offerings currently available for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Similar options may be announced for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party soon!
I hope this information is helpful -
please let us know if you have any additional questions or need clarification!
