    Hi, we're coming for Christmas and are looking for the best ways to spend Christmas day. We're planning on MK and doing the fireworks dining package but wanted more information please? Is it a character dine? Are there better alternatives? Thanks

    It's always an added delight for me to assist a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom with their jolly Disney holiday plans and this is even more so when their trip is during Christmas and Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort!
    I adore a Disney-style Christmas and I've been so lucky to have spent December 25th with my own family enjoying all the wonderful Yuletide offerings at Walt Disney World Resort and you won't be disappointed by spending Christmas Day surrounded by the enchantment of the Magic Kingdom Park. 
    I believe the fireworks dining package you're enquiring about is indeed the Fireworks Dessert Parties held at Tomorrowland Terrace; Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing which provides a standing view in a prime location or Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace which offers Guests reserved seating with excellent views. Although neither of these benefit from character appearances you will of course see plenty of beloved Disney characters during the spectacular Happily Ever After.
    A swashbuckling alternative which includes a dessert party, characters plus a unique fireworks viewing point is the super fun Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage.
