    Coming 1/12/14 chosen for magic bands, planning on preordering photopass+, I am hearing that the magicband is your photo pass card, have Chef Mickey res on night 1, and hoping to get photopass pics taken there without going to park first, is this possible?

    Hi Jonathan!  When using PhotoPass+ for dining locations, you do need to show your PhotoPass+ card.  If you want to redeem your voucher for the PhotoPass+ card, there are other locations you can do this other than inside a park.  Since you are going to Chef Mickey's for dinner, I would suggest you try one of these locations before heading to dinner - they are a quick monorail ride away:

    - M. Mouse Mercantile at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    - Trader Jack's at Disney's Polynesian Resort

    These locations have limited hours so you might want to check with a concierge desk before heading over but when I stayed at the Polynesian this past September, I did notice they were open later in day during the dinner hours.
