We are coming to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and I was wondering where we can go to have a drink at midnight!

Hey there Kim, it's so great to see you back at planDisney once again!

It's wild to think that 6 years ago you were planning a trip with the kids and asked the panel which Disney Resort Hotel to stay at, and now you're coming back once more to celebrate your daughter turning 21 with an adult beverage! I remember celebrating my 21st birthday along two of my dearest pals and Cast Member friends and certainly taking the opportunity to responsibly sip and sample my way around EPCOT - but finding a place where she'll be able to enter upon turning 21 after midnight can be challenging with the way that many popular hotspots actually close before midnight like locations in Disney Springs or even Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

Luckily however, I know a few places at Disney's BoardWalk where you can wander into for that after-midnight celebration:

    • If your daughter is into an evening of singing along to pianos and perhaps even making a special birthday song request, you might want to head over to Jellyrolls while it's open! At the current time it is scheduled to remain open into January as late as 1:45 A.M. however this may be subject to change without prior notice. Guests are required to present valid identification proving that they are 21 years of age or older in order to enter, and also pay an admission fee (though discounts for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members and Cast Members apply and may vary depending on the day of the week).
    • An alternative option also sits right across from it at Atlantic Dance Hall, which is currently typically open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until 1:00 A.M. Though in this case you may not be required to pay any cover charge, your daughter will still have to wait until midnight to enter if she hasn't officially turned 21 yet.
I hope that this helps, Kim! You're always welcome to come back to us once again for any other advice, tips or tricks on making that 21st birthday celebration one that your daughter will always remember!

Here's to celebrating such a major milestone at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
