Hi all! Coming 11/21/12 to CBR staying in a pirate room. Are there any buildings with pirate rooms closer to the food court that I could request? Thanks I couldn't plan this trip without you :)

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, and thank you for the compliment on the panel.  All of us enjoy helping guests plan their magical Disney vacation.

Unfortunately, there are not any pirate themed rooms close to the food court at the Caribbean Beach Resort.  If you look at a map of the resort and where those rooms are located, it appears to have been done on purpose.  They are located in the Trinidad South area of the resort and that is almost as far as you can get from Old Port Royale and still be in the resort!  That said, however, some buildings are still closer to the food court than others.  I suggest putting in a room request that says "we would like to be in a pirate themed room closest to Old Port Royale".  I think that is better than requesting a specific building number as it really explains to Disney what you are looking for.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but the pirate themed rooms do look absolutely amazing and guests have raved about them.  I hope this helps, and please write back with more questions!
