We are coming from Canada, but flying from Niagara Falls NY, so we can cross the border to the US with Birth Certificates for the boys. On the cruise, can we go to The bahamas, or other areas offered with Birth Certificates for the boys? They are 8 and 9

Welcome to planDisney Kathy! I am happy that you sailed by.

I am not clear if you and your sons are United States or Canadian citizens, so I offer the following information on travel documentation for both:

If you are US Citizens, the original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate and a physical government-issued photo ID are required if a valid US passport is not being used.  Children 15 years of age and younger are required to present either their US passport or their original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate, but a government-issued photo ID is not required for them.  Digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not acceptable to sail.

If you are a Canadian Citizen (including children), an original valid Canadian passport or original valid Trusted Traveler Program (NEXUS, FAST) is required.

Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding so if you have further questions, I suggest contacting the Disney Cruise Line Help Center.  For all your planning needs for your upcoming cruise, planDisney is here for you.  Visit us anytime, Kathy.

    Adventure is out there!
