Coming at the beginning of June and have a 7:50 reservation at Ohana. After hearing things about how seating can be sometimes up to an hour late here I am concerned as we are traveling with 3 young children. Is late seating common at Ohana. Any opinions?

    Hi Cierra!

'Ohana is one of my very favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World!  I think your family is going to love it!

In my experience, I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes past my reservation time at 'Ohana.  I am sure that long waits may occasionally happen, but it has never happened to my family in the many times we have eaten there.  In fact, on our last trip, we were actually called back five minutes before our reservation time, and our entire party wasn't even there yet.

I like to get to 'Ohana at least twenty minutes before our reserved time.  There are some shops you can take your kids into while you wait, but I think that will minimize the risk of you having to wait later than your reservation time.

Another great thing is that the food is served "family style".  This means you don't have to wait long at all, once seated, for your food to start arriving.  The only thing you order is your drinks.  Everything else is prepared in advance.  Be sure to save room for the dessert!  It's my favorite dessert ANYWHERE!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions, and have a magical trip!!
