Hey there, Erica! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I too am so excited about the all new
extra, Extra Magic Hours offered at the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks later this summer. It's going to be a great time to check out new attractions like
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios and enjoy some old favorites throughout the other parks as well! I think you'll be happy to know that your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest benefits do take effect early that morning. While your room might not be quite ready, you are certainly able to park your car, enjoy the pool or head off to one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Did you know that you can actually check in to your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel up to 60 days in advance? You can do this through your My Disney Experience account. When you online check in, you are asked what time you might be arriving. Since you plan on arriving early, go ahead and let them know what time. This will greatly help the Cast Members working at the Resort Hotel and your room might even be ready early since they know what to plan for. I always think the early you do this, the more likely it will happen. Also, I wanted to mention that your resort benefits expire on midnight the day you check out, kind of like Cinderella. So you actually have all day to use them. I love to spend the morning on our last day poolside for as long as possible. It's a great way to end a fantastic vacation.
I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any other before your trip, please stop by and let us know. Enjoy!
