    Hi, We are going to be coming back to Disney World May 2014. I was wondering if the Lego store in Downtown Disney takes Disney giftcards? Are there any of the stores in Downtown Disney that do not take them? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Matthew,

    Congratulations on booking your future Walt Disney World vacation! Although subject to change, The Lego Store will accept the Disney Gift Card at Downtown Disney. The excerpt directly taken from the Terms & Conditions states: "...the Disney Gift Card can be redeemed at select merchandise, food, ticketing and Guest Service locations, select third party lessees and Downtown Disney Operating Participant locations."

    Besides the occasional outdoor merchandise carts or stands, I have not run into any issue redeeming my Disney Gift Card at Downtown Disney merchants. Feel free to write me back with a specific store or dining location and I'd be happy to determine if the Disney Gift Card is currently accepted.
