we are coming back to Disney over my son's spring break (April 1 - April 7). What are the crowds like during that time frame? Are there better days to go to different parks during that time?

    Hi Kathy!

I will be honest and tell you that it will be crowded.  Spring break is one of the busiest times of the year since it's the only opportunity to vacation for some families.  With that being said, even the busiest of days is manageable at Walt Disney World.  While Extra Magic Hours are great and give you the extra time to spend in the parks, it usually means that the park that is participating that day is the busiest.  Avoid those parks with morning Extra Magic Hours.  I've found that going to the Extra Magic Hours at night is really great.  If you are park hopping, plan on taking the second half of the day to spend at that park at night.

Sit down with your son and figure out what he most wants to do and do those things first.  Even if you can't get to EVERYTHING at Disney World (which is tough to do anyway), you can head home knowing he got the most out of your vacation.

Don't try to rush yourself going from attraction to attraction or you will miss out on some magical moments.  Take the time to eat, hydrate and even just look around a bit to make the most of your experience.

    Have a magical day!
