    We are coming back for Disney 2009 Part 2 and this time we're doing the waterparks. I understand the water parks fill to capacity in the summer. If we have breakfast at Cape May at 745a will we make it to TL before it fills? it opens at 9am.

    Hi Mary,

    You listed two of my family's favorite things in your question:  waterparks and character breakfasts at Cape May Buffet, so I had to answer!  In general, I allow about an hour at breakfast buffets from the time you are seated to ensure that all the characters have an opportunity to "make the rounds" to your table, sign autographs, take pictures, etc.  That being said, if you are more of an "eat and run" clan, you can certainly be done sooner.  Whatever you do, make sure you try the Mickey waffles!   While I don't think you will be at Typhoon Lagoon by rope drop at 9am, I don't anticipate you having a problem getting into the park.  The water parks are, indeed, very popular, and can reach capacity on a hot summer day, but this generally happens later in the morning.   If you finish eating a few minutes before 9 and head right down to the bus stop at the Beach Club, you should arrive at Typhoon Lagoon early enough to snag a lounge chair or two!
