I am just like you - a HUGE fan of
Port Orleans French Quarter. My family has stayed at almost every resort on Disney property, but this resort is the one we call "home!"
If you book your reservation by phone, you can have your building request noted on your reservation at that time. If you
book online, call (407)934-7639 and have a note put on your reservation. Then, about 5 days prior to your arrival, send a friendly fax directly to the resort with your building preference. While they will do their best to accommodate you, requests cannot be guaranteed.
If for some reason you do not get building 3, my favorite is building 4. I love the location to the bus stop, food court, and big open field where my kids toss around a ball or watch the nighttime movies. I know you are a building 3 fan, but you might want to venture to the other side of the
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory and check out "my" side of the resort! Remember that due to location, you cannot book a water view or pool view room and still be in building 3.
I do not know if you have been to Port Orleans French Quarter in the past few months, but you will see some changes in the food court, with a new layout of the different food windows, new drink station, and new décor. I hope you enjoy the new look! No worries, they still have the made to order beignets!
