Hi, we are coming back to Disney April of 2018, we have never been to Disney during the month of April, end of April, will Spring breakers still be there? Is it really busy at that time? Also any suggestions for a good breakfast by the Caribbean resort?

Hi, Leann and welcome to a little place we like to call the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having visited during my Spring Break myself, I was a little concerned about crowds. However, up in Canada our Spring Break can be quite early (ours was in March), and you will find that many States have different Spring Break weeks, so the crowds never really feel that overwhelming. The weeks that are the busiest tend to be around Easter, however, Easter 2018 is at the beginning of April so I think you won’t encounter that crowd level. Even at the busiest of times, with FastPass+ and Advanced Dining Reservations, Walt Disney World never feels too crowded! April is a great time to visit because my favorite festival, the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival is on and you get to venture through World Showcase enjoying the special food stands and marveling at the beautiful topiaries!

Speaking of special food, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is currently undergoing a special makeover from the Fairy Godmother herself yet still has a few delicious breakfast options depending on what you are looking for. Keep in mind that if you have a vehicle or are willing to use a taxicab or Uber to get to your destination, you can virtually eat at any Disney Resort hotel. You can still do so using the Complimentary Disney Transportation, it just requires a little more planning with your Lobby Concierge. Here are some of my suggestions:

-Centretown Buffet has an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast at your Disney Resort hotel!
-Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
-1900 Park Fare’s Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

I hope my advice helps you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and that you come and visit us again soon!
