Hi, I am coming from Australia next yr to WDW to celebrate my daughters 18th with her cousin who is 17. what resort do u recommend and how long should we stay to do all the parks, water and all? thanks :)

Hey, Cheryl! That's awesome that you'll be bringing your daughter and her cousin next year. You just became mother / auntie of the year!

Since you're undertaking the time and expense of flying, I'd recommend making the most of the effort and vacationing at Disney World for approximately 10 days. After 5 days, the cost of adding additional days to your park tickets drops off substantially. This helps offset the cost of a longer vacation. Since resort prices don't follow the same pattern, I'd recommend staying at a Value resort or a Moderate resort to keep lodging costs low. I'd recommend Pop Century as the Value resort and Port Orleans French Quarter as the Moderate Resort.

I'd get the park hopper tickets with the water parks option on it. With 10 days, I'd give 1.5 days to water parks and the remainder to play in the theme parks.

Let us know if you need a hand with anything else as you plan your vacation!
