    We are coming August 19 - 25 and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I just (6/18) tried to make dinner reservations at the Whispering Canyon restaurant and no times were available for any of the nights (before 8:50PM). Anyway we can still eat dinner there?

    Hi Cindy!
    First off, the Wilderness Lodge is one of my all time favorite Walt Disney World resorts. The theming is spectacular!  On top of that, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is a fun place to eat for the whole family.  Just remember not to ask for ketchup if you get a table.  Advanced Dining Reservations are becoming increasingly necessary at Walt Disney World, particularly at popular dining locations.  That said, you may want to try to a walk up seating at an off peak time, particularly before 5 PM if possible.  People cancel their reservations all the time, so with a little patience and perseverance, you just may get lucky.
