Hi, We will be coming in august (99 days to go - yay) and it's our first time with magic bands. If I understood correctly our magic bands will unlock our Resort room. Will our 14 and 9 year old also have this possibility? thank you so much!

    Bonjour Maria,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your excellent question! It’s always fun when the vacation countdown reaches the double digits, no?

We’ve had the chance to visit Walt Disney World Resort several times since they introduced MagicBands and we’ve absolutely loved the convenience and flexibility that they’ve given us. The good news is that if your children’s MagicBands are properly linked to your Resort reservation, then they’ll be able to use them to open the door to your Resort Hotel room as well. Make sure to double-check this at the front desk when you check in. In addition, if you want to limit your children's ability to charge any purchases to your account, make sure to mention this when you check in as well.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
