Disney's Art of Animation Resort and were delighted to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, and more stop by for a visit right at the hotel! There is so much more fun in store during
Cool KIDS SUMMER, and your resort offers some of these limited-time activities, too. Perfect timing!
Robin, resort activities are always subject to change, so upon arrival, I always head directly to the front desk and ask a Cast Member for the most current information. While you'll find signs posted throughout the resort listing
Art of Animation's Activities Schedule, sometimes there are additional activities such as the Drawing Classes you've mentioned. I've seen these advertised as being held in the Resort Airline Check In Room, but to be sure these are, in fact, offered during your stay, it's best to ask. Art of Animation also features signature craft opportunities at their Recreation Activities Room.
You can also see resort schedules by going to any Walt Disney World Resort hotel's website and clicking on Recreation. During our recent visit to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I was so happy to see Make Your Own Kukui Nut Leis scheduled for the Great Ceremonial House Lobby. Over at
Disney's Riviera Resort, we saw the painting class called Painting on the Riviera as well as the crafting class Art de la Mosaique. Both were held in The Eventi Room. There are so many arts & craft options throughout Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Robin, so be sure to take advantage of those right at your own resort. So much fun!
