Hello, Zainab!
Summers in Central Florida can be very warm, but there are lots of ways to beat the heat!
First, be sure that each member of your party has a container of water at all times. Staying hydrated keeps everyone happy. Bring a wide-mouthed, screw-top bottle per person, and fill up with ice and water in the a.m.; refill at lunch. Plan trips to indoor attractions throughout the day, so that you're cooled down every hour.
Regarding crowds, you'll be heading in just around the time that crowds subside, since many schools have started back for the new year. However, you will be in the parks over the Labor Day holiday weekend, so you may notice that the crowds are a little heavier from Friday through Monday, 9/3/12. After that date, you will notice a dramatic decline in the crowd level.
For your Incredibles and Cars fan, head over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and pick up a Times Guide as you enter. You'll find out exactly where your favorite characters can be found so that you'll get their autographs and some really fantastic pictures with them. In addition, if you have a smart phone, there's a great, free APP which can help you locate Character Greetings in the park as well. Read this
Disney Parks Blog for more information and to see how this great APP can help you locate so many things, especially once it detects that you're in the park. Love this APP! Typically, you can find character-specific merchandise at select locations. Look for toys, collectible pins, cups, shirts and hats with your son's favorite characters on them; I'm sure you'll find some he's just going to love!
Have a wonderful trip! Please send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
