HI! Coming in Aug for our second stay at Boardwalk Inn. I have reserved a water view room (as I did last year). I was slightly disappointed last year with our 'water view'. Is there any way to request a true water view overlooking the boardwalk? Thanks.

Hi Jennifer! The Boardwalk is a beautiful and unique resort in the Epcot area. It comprises of not only resort rooms but also the DVC Villa rooms. They have combined the property into one and most guests don't have a clue where the resort stops and the villas start. Because of this there are fewer actual resort rooms overlooking the water then the DVC property. You can request a water view but you are not able to request specific rooms unless it is a suite or handicap.  When you check in you can request the best available that has the best water view possible. Unfortunately, that is the best you can do. The Beach and Yacht Club resorts just across the way have many more water view rooms that actually face the lake. You might consider changing to one of these resorts if a water view is your first wish. You will still be in the same area with easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
