    Coming in Aug 2010 and are ready to book our hotel and tickets. Recently discovered that when we will be there free dining is usually a promotion. Can we add this if we have already booked? Do we already have to have the dining plan booked to add promotion

    Hi Rhonda,

    Great question!  The free dining promotions are quite popular, and I know a lot of guest will be hoping for them again this year.  When promotions such as the free-dining are released, you can modify your reservation to include this deal, subject to availability.  Disney will not automatically modify your reservation, you will need to call to check availability and make the change if possible.  You do not have to have the dining plan already purchased, you can simply add it when and if the promotion is released. 

    To be sure that you hear about the promotions, I suggest that you register at a website such as www.mousesavers.com because they send out emails when special promotions are released.
