Coming in Aug 2014 for 9 days. Staying at DASMR, having KNO watch the kids (2 and 3) one night so we can have a "Date Night". We don't feel comfortable being real far from the room. Any suggestions on some place close for adult drinks

    Hi Derrek!

A "Date Night" allow us adults to enjoy a different experience at Walt Disney World.  If only for one hour, spending some time alone is the best way to recharge and think about all the memorable moments of your vacation.

Kid's Nite Out is the perfect service for making a Date Night possible for parents with children 2 years or younger.

Using a car or taxi will help make the most of your time and allow you a fast return at any time of the night.  At all Disney resorts you should be able to find a taxi with almost no wait.

With this approach, I suggest visiting California Grill, Artist Point or Jiko-The Cooking Place.  These restaurants feature excellent cuisine, beautiful setting and great service.  At California Grill guests can enjoy Magic Kingdom's fireworks show - check event times at Disney's Calendar.
Choose the restaurant that makes you comfortable and enjoy a wonderful time.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a Date Night at Walt Disney World.
