We are coming to attend the ICU world cheerleading championships in February. Which attractions are open during the Extended hours on Friday night at Epcot and the celebration party Sunday night at Hollywood studios?

Cheers, Michelle! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today; I'm always happy to chat about planning magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort, and traveling with an athlete for a Cheerleading Championship is such a fun way to explore the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let's dive right in to help you plan for the special events offered during your visit!

Michelle, I wasn't able to find an ICU event in February on the ESPN Wide World of Sports Events page, so I'm wondering if you're asking about the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships, which are scheduled for February 7-10 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. For this event, travelers who have booked a travel package through Varsity will be able to attend extended hours at EPCOT on Friday, February 7. While I was not able to locate a list of specific attractions that would be open for this event, when EPCOT hosts its Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts, the following attractions are offered:
    • Frozen Ever After
    • Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
    • Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
    • Journey of Water
    • Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
    • Mission: Space
    • Spaceship Earth
    • Soarin' Around the World
    • Mission: SPACE
    • Test Track
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends
This might give us an idea of what will be offered, but keep in mind, Michelle, that this does not guarantee the availability of these exact experiences, and your best source of information would be your travel coordinator from Varsity to confirm offerings!

As for the Celebration Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the athletes will be the star of the show! You'll find DJs spinning tunes, dance parties, and select food and beverage locations operating during your event as well as some of the park's top attractions. While this year's offerings are subject to change, here are the attractions that were open for last year's Celebration Party:
    • Tower of Terror
    • Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
    • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
    • Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
    • Toy Story Mania
    • Slinky Dog Dash
Michelle, if this is not the cheerleading event you are attending, or if you have any other questions about your trip, feel free to come back to planDisney and let me know! I hope this helps, and I hope your favorite cheer team makes many magical memories and takes home a championship title!

Here's to making magic and hitting zero,
    Alison
