We are coming April 2015 with a week on a Disney cruise and then a week at DW. We can only afford 1 character dining. We live near Disneyland and have done all the character dinings there Want something that we cant get at DL or on the cruise. HELP?!?!

    Hello Heather,

I'm glad to hear that you are heading over to the east coast to experience the magic of a Walt Disney World vacation. While some attractions and experiences are available at both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, many of them vary slightly to provide a memorable time at both. Then, there are things unique to each of those parks, as well, so I hope you are able to have a spectacular time on land and sea during your trip.

My suggestion for a unique character dining experience is breakfast or lunch at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom. You'll meet Donald and his friends as they stroll around greeting guests in their safari wear! You'll dine on a delicious spread of breakfast and lunch classics as well as some unique items such as the Banana-Cinnamon Bread Pudding with Vanilla sauce (my mouth is watering just thinking about it), the saffron-infused vegetables and the pearl couscous with basil. Keep in mind that at this location, Donald greets guests for both breakfast and lunch at the entrance for a photo opportunity but does not mingle around the restaurant with the rest of the characters.

I hope this offers a fun and difference character experience for you and your family to consider. Have a magical time.
