We are coming April 9-13the and staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We have a 2 and 8 yr old. Will it be easier to take the bus or just drive the car to the different parks?

This is really one of those questions that can have many responses!  Our experiences have been that we never rent a car and rely 100% on Disney transportation to save money, avoid having to put any effort into where we are going and reading maps, and no buckling up booster/car seats, and seat belts.  But the trade off is that we do probably spend more time waiting for buses and lose some control of where we are going (for example, at Port Orleans the buses will usually drive around all 4 bus stops).  Many guests prefer the control of going exactly where they want and when they want to come and go, which may important to you with a 2 year old and nap time.  Please keep in mind that if you drive to the parks, that you will still need to either use the monorail or ferry to get to the Magic Kingdom since the parking lot is not next to the Magic Kingdom.  I would encourage you to think about what is most important to you - saving time and having control or mindless transportation with not a buckle in sight.
