We are coming in April and have purchased the Disney Dining Plan. I have some older kids who are picky eaters, can they order off of the children's menu?

    Hi Natalia!

Happy New Year! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I completely understand your dilemma with picky eaters in the family - I have one of my own! The good news is that with the Disney Dining Plan your older kids will be able to order from either the adult or kids' menu at every meal. While younger children (9 and under) on the Dining Plan are not allowed to order adult-size portions at Table Service venues, it is never a problem for older children to order meals from the children's menu.

I have a 13-year-old that fluctuates between eating like a bird and devouring everything in sight. For those "bird" times, she often chooses items from the Kids' Menus for the smaller portions. I, myself, am a big fan of macaroni and cheese (which can't always be found on the adult menu), so I've been known to order from the Kids' Menu as well!

Walt Disney World Resort does a wonderful job accommodating Guests with specific dining requests, and I'm certain you'll find that your picky eaters will be taken care of.

I hope this helps with your planning! Please let us know if you have further questions before your April vacation - we're here to help. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
