Hi, Neil!
You are staying at my favorite Value Resort. The themes for each century are so fun, and it really is a beautiful resort. During my last stay, I had an amazing view of Hourglass Lake outside my room. Wow, a Value Resort with a water view - now that's magic!
Every resort hotel room in Walt Disney World has a mini-fridge (think of a dorm sized refrigerator). It is perfect to chill a few bottles of water and some snacks. Because the fridge is not huge, I would not suggest stocking up too many groceries. You should be able to find the basics (milk, snacks, fruit) at
Everything Pop which is located in the lobby. This combination food court/gift shop has a lot of what you might need to get you through your vacation.
If time allows, take a stroll across the Generation Gap Bridge to visit
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This is another fun Value Resort. Their food court,
Landscape of Flavors, is out of this world. Give it try if you can!
Enjoy your stay at
Disney's Pop Century Resort and make sure to try the Tie Die cheesecake - Yum!
