Coming in April and November this year. Already have bought our theme park tickets separate from rooms. Staying at two different places (CB and WL). We bought 6 day tickets. Will this work with the new wristband thing that WDW is changing to?

    Hi Susan!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

At the moment, the new wristbands (MagicBands) which are part of My Magic + require a package reservation at Walt Disney World, meaning a reservation consisting of a room and tickets.  However, Disney has said that eventually all guests will be able to take advantage of My Magic +.  My suggestion is to ask a Disney Cast Member when you check in if you can transfer your separate "paper tickets" to your Key to the World card or to the wristbands, if your hotel has implemented them.  Wristbands will be implemented in phases and it is not clear to me when all of the hotels will offer them.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but I hope this helps.  We will probably no a lot more before your November trip so I would check back with the Disney Parks Moms Panel after your first trip if you don't find out when you are down there.
