We are coming in April 2021! What can we expect for weather? We usually come in August so hot, humid, and afternoon thunderstorms every day. Also, anything special that time of year?

    Hi Michelle,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question!  How exciting to be visiting in April of next year!  As far as the weather is concerned, April is my most favorite month at the Walt Disney Resort.  The temperatures are warm yet mild, with mostly sunny skies and only the occasional rainstorm.  The average daily highs are usually in the low 80's and the lows in the 60's.  So practically perfect in every way!

Although the Walt Disney World Spring Festivals & Events for 2021 haven't been announced yet, there is a good chance you will be visiting during EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.  You simply will be amazed at the sight of the intricate and stunning topiaries and lush gardens.  Even little ones "ooh" and "ahh" at these magical visions.  It truly is a delight for all your senses!

To keep up to date with all the Magical news in Walt Disney World, I recommend checking in frequently with the Disney Parks Blog.  You can even use the filters to view information for your specific interests, such as "Celebrations" or "Special Events".  Or you can do what I do and just stop by for a few minutes each day and get your daily dose of Magic!

As you continue with your vacation planning please let us know if you have any further questions.  We love to "talk Disney"!
