I am coming on April 23 rd to April 30 I am traveling with a friend who needs oxygen 24/7 where do we go to get the oxygen sent to our resort and what do we need to do this

Hi there, Brenda! Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad to hear you have a magical vacation planned with your friend in just a few short months. You're wise to follow Scar's advice to "Be Prepared!"

AdventHealth is now the official healthcare provider at Walt Disney World. Their Care Concierge team will be ready to assist you in coordinating medical equipment rental and delivery right to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You can reach them at (407) 939-7480 between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM Eastern Time. They will be able to rent your friend an oxygen tank, but keep in mind that a physician's order is required.

You are also welcome to contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com. Your friend will likely need assistance with getting around the parks, and they can advise you about options. If you plan to rent an ECV, you'll want to request one that has a place to hold an oxygen tank. ScooterBug is a Disney Featured Provider, meaning that they will work with Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members to manage deliveries and returns of any rented mobility equipment, and their phone number is (800) 726-8284.

Plan your theme park days in moderation and make sure to take time to relax. Each of the four theme parks has a First Aid Center staffed with a licensed RN and has beds for resting. They will often store any spare oxygen tanks in their locations if needed.

I hope you have a great time, Brenda! If you have any more trip-planning questions, don't hesitate to contact us again. See ya real soon!
