Jambo, Gina!
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to discuss your upcoming
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge stay. My family and I recently spent our spring break at this resort, and we loved the immersive environment and incredible views. We looked forward to relaxing poolside after a day in the theme parks and loved being greeted by our giraffe and zebra neighbors each morning. You're going to have an unforgettable holiday here!
Early Theme Park Entry is a wonderful benefit to an onsite stay, and I'm glad you plan to take advantage of it. Select attractions are available for you to enjoy during this half-hour, and you can find
a complete list (subject to change) here. In Magic Kingdom Park, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland will typically be open to Guests of Early Theme Park Entry. My son rides Space Mountain several times at park opening, while my daughter prefers to start with
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and
Peter Pan's Flight. From the main entrance of EPCOT, I like to begin with
Frozen Ever After or
Test Track. At
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can commence your visit with nearly any attraction except
Kilimanjaro Safaris, which gets rolling a bit later.
Disney's Hollywood Studios generally has all ride-style attractions up and running during Early Theme Park Entry, while the shows and character meet and greets begin during regular operating hours.
I hope this is helpful, Gina. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, I recommend leaving your room about 45-60 minutes before Early Theme Park Entry to give yourself plenty of time to catch a bus, reach your destination, and arrive at the park entrance. If, like me, your favorite Disney snack is specialty coffee, you're at the perfect resort;
The Mara starts serving coffee and pastries at 6:30 in the morning most days. Grab an iced latte, head to the bus stop, and let the magic begin! Thanks again for sending your question to
planDisney, and we can't wait to welcome you "home" soon.
Wishing you a great, big, beautiful tomorrow,
Betsy
