I am coming to the AK in Oct., and have booked a Savannah room, overlooking the animals, upon arrival, do you think i should request a 1st floor room, or a higher floor room?...for best seeing of the animals?

    Hi Nicole,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite resorts!  To be up close and personal with the animals right from your resort balcony is amazing!

The guest rooms are located on floor two and higher, and although the floor two rooms will offer the closest view of the animals right near the building, the higher floors offer a more expansive view of the Savannah.  Personally, I would request the lowest floor possible as I prefer to see them up close.

Keep in mind that requests are simply that, and cannot be guaranteed.

    Have a great trip!
