I will be comimg to Disney with my 17 year old grandaughter. She has food allergies. We will be using counter service restaurants. Can we preview the menu ingredients before we come down to see what she can order? Thank you in advance for your help.

The Special Diets department at Walt Disney World is exemplary! While traveling with a food allergy can be daunting, WDW strives to offer options to make your visit less stressful.

Your first step should be to call 407-824-5967 or email SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com. The Cast Member will note which quick service (counter) restaurants will most likely have menu items to suit your granddaughter. Each location will have a "nutritional book" which you may ask to view in order to look at the ingredients used and make a wise dining choice.

I do not know if the ingredients can be previewed before your arrival, however the Special Diets department will be extremely helpful in answering all your allergy-related questions.

Enjoy a wonderful and safe vacation!
