Hi, we will be comiing to WDW (1st visit) on April 28th and will be visiting AK on our first day. We have 2 lovely adventerous boys aged 5 and 7. Is there a plan/schedule that you can outline for me to ensure I capture everything during our visit? Thanks!

Hi, Mary! With gung-ho boys that age, you should be able to experience just about everything you'd like (except Primeval Whirl, which has a 48" height restriction) on April 28 at Animal Kingdom. If your 5 year old is one the fence about Everest, bribe him to ride it. It's that good. He'll thank you when he's older. I think.

I highly recommend picking up a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and visiting its website, TouringPlans.com. The "Happy Family One-Day Touring Plan" looks perfect for you (assuming that you're a happy family and would like to continue as one during and after your trip. In fact, I bet you'll come out even happier when all is said and done.)

This touring plan has you arriving prior to park opening and then circling Animal Kingdom counterclockwise, beginning in Dinoland, USA. It'll make for a very productive day.
